The style is of a stained glass window. People in general tend to associate stained glass with churches and so we immediately have the religious connection. The coloured radials show two things:- 1.The coming together of many parts to a common centre 2.The going out from the centre. Therefore 1. represents the various churches coming together as a body, united in Christ and 2. represents the work of that body – going out into the community. The bright colours have been used as an indication of the joy of knowing Christ and the uncoloured segments, representative of clear glass, are there to let God’s light shine through. The outer edge is a circle, which represents the eternity of life with Christ.
